Research group candidates to join
Since AVL(Autonomous Vehecle Laboratory) halted 3 months ago, I had not been working on any research project. Now I started fiding one that fits me(or I should say the one I fit).
The two purposes to join them are: 1)to keep on contributing to the real world if only a little, 2)to maintain sense of real job I've acquired before I began studying in UT-Arlington, 3)to ask a researcher in a group about the recommendation for applying graduate schools. Today I omit the further explanation about those reasons.
Candidates so far are:
-ARRI (Automation & Robotics Research Institute)
Up: large scale research, well organized
Dwn: focused on immitating human relatively?
-Dr.Ding (BioInformatics)
Up: Related to Caltech, UC Berkeley
Dwn: working labs not found
-Dr.Elmasri (Sensor networks)
Up: Related to Stanford
Dwn: working labs not found
-HERACLEIA (Heracleia Human-Centered Computing Laboratory)
Up: Robots.
Dwn: Rather targeted for human life? Not in an engineering world??
