Weird mouse speed on client using Synergy

I realized mouse moves too fast on a Ubuntu 11.04 as a client machine when using Synergy. I found that "sensitivity"'s setting plays a big role on client side.
To configure, click Ubuntu logo (most likely on your left top in 11.04), then search "Mouse" so you'll see the config window of Mouse. Change sensitivity as you like.

Update 9/13/2011) Often modifying sensitivity is of no use. Rather, just relaunch the synergy server is perfect workaround for me, when I feel the mouse speed on client is getting fast.

I've also noticed Synergy takes into account the mouse' configuration on server side (Mac OSX 10.7). Seems like the resultant speed on clients side is calculated using (at least) these 3 in my environment: mouse speed on server, mouse speed on client, mouse sensitivity on client. Because of that, I still conclude for now that the root cause is relevant to Synergy.

Self comment. I found later that the mouse speed randomly changes whenever the client and server wake up from sleep regardless the configuration described above.

I know this post is YEARs old, but it's still a problem for me. Every time I wake my Synergy server (OS X), the mouse speed on the client (Windows) speeds up. If I sleep multiple times without restarting the synergy server, the mouse keeps getting faster and faster.

Same bug for me in the same conditions, between a Windows 8 and a Mac. A more recent discussion on http://www.unix-ninja.com/p/Mouse_on_Synergys_Client_is_Often_Too_Fast_and_Sensitive/, but still unsolved. Need to file a bug, but I have not found a specific place where to.
