Google's Public DNS works fine for me, not that faster though
After my Mac recovered from DNS problem(blog post about the issue), I start using Google's public DNS (link). So far it made any difference to my eyes, probably because the network I have contract for is fast enough, but in the long run it could be better to keep using this Google's service at all time since the connection speed varies depending on the network my machine connects when I go out.
P.S-1(10Jan25). The setting in the figure above was wrong...I have to do setting ON MY COMPUTER instead of on the router, to take advantage of Public DNS.
P.S-2. Google's one worked a little worse when I used the other wireless network service my apartment serves. That means, I can't say Google's Public DNS works better for any DNS services so far.
