Another common platform software for Robotics (RT Middleware)

This is the link of RT Middleware that I used to talk about with my collegue when we just began thinking about common software such as ROS.

Although it's developed by AIST, the largest semi-governmental research institute in my home country Japan, I'm not blindly supportive for it. However, in one blog post (in Japanese) detailed comparison was done with ROS, and the author concluded it's hard to say which is better and he said he even couldn't specify the situation each software might get superior to the other. However, he states people in ROS side are much sensitive and doing well in extending the community so that ROS might be able to grow much faster.

Anyway, I got very interested in RT Middleware as well as ROS which I've already started using in the lab and thorough comparison might be one of my research work in Systems Engineering with a focus in robotics.

I found this post of my own after nearly 7 years, and amazed by the fact that I pointed out critical thing -- the approach 2 candidates developed the user community. Result now is obvious.
