Google toolbar disappeared suddenly from Firefox 3.6.6 on { Mac OSX, Win Vista }

Phenom: as stated in title of this entry. Nothing was shown in the area where the buttons are supposed to be.
Action taken before the phenomenon occurred: Reboot the Firefox
Workaround: Re-install the toolbar (I know it's not the smartest way but it worked for me.
