Tips for using HP Scanjet 5590 on Mac OSX Snow Lepard

I was forced to search by myself to get my crappy scanner work again after I upgraded Mac OS finally to 10.6.4, and found I need to upgrade software (HP Scan).
- Phenomenon: Scanner was not found when I execute HP Scan software.
- Successful workaround step:

• 1. Download the installer of the latest HP Scan software (from here in my case)
• 2. Open HP Uninstaller.app in the folder of the program just installed, and uninstall
• 3. Open the installer again and follow the installation instruction

NOTE: Step 2 and 3 may not be necessary (just because it doesn't make sense to repeat installation twice).
