Apartment Rental Scam on Craigslist

I'm looking for a sublet in California where I'm going to do internship for awhile. One of the source I'm using is craigslist, which I use for the first time to be honest. After sending e-mail inquiries to some of the rooms that I got interested in with a specific question, I've got 2 e-mails. Strangely, however, those e-mails look very similar, and they don't even answer to my question. After all it turns out it's highly likely a scam.

Clumsy enough, I've replied back to one of them, because I wanted to hear the answer to my question. Then I got another reply, which sounds a little approaching, but doesn't state clear answer yet.

Lessons learned: there are scams on craigslist. Do not specify too much about yourself when you contact the sellers until you are really convinced.
