Memory of Michael Jackson
Though he was not necessarily my most favorite artist, I can't help but think of him tonight before going to bed. I know he's been involved in legal troubles these days. However, he's always been Michael the king of pops. BTW, he's so loved in Japan too, that TV news reported his death calling his first name as Michael-san( meaning Mr. Michael, which is highly unusual for Japanese media to call someone by the first name).
His youth and former era of adulthood are inimitable because of too high tones. But sometime around after "Bad" or so, I could sing the songs in his albums. I was glad to do that but also was a bit sad since that means his voice started to weaken.
I have no idea why he wanted to change the color of the skin, or even no need to know that, but I wonder if he got what he wanted after he's done that.
What we can do for him is not only to mourn, but to sing his tunes! Tons of favorites, but this is the one made by the most brilliant combination with Quicy Jones.

One more. Songs before "Thriller" are all boogie-woogie but also contain wistful senses!

Rest in peace Michael.
