Now I'm enrolled in Summer courses heavily...On Tuesday I have 10 hours classes, and other days are packed too. Only hope is Friday's free. At the situations like this, old Japanese say they even wanted to ask cats for a help, but nowadays we don't do that since we know cats don't do anything, and they're even worthy for their doing-nothing which gives us a heal:) Cats gotta know this fact too.
Three weeks ago when I stayed in Japan for a short vacation, I visited a frind and his family in Toyota and run together at a race. That was 3rd race I joined this year. Unfortunately I put on about 8 pounds only in May(mainly due to high-quality meals I had in Japan, and also final exam period), record was 44min.40sec which is not 2 minutes behind from what I expected a month before the race, but I kind of dreamed of running with him, with who we've kept sharing information and motivated each other about running. Now finally we've made it! He won me even though he had just come back from the biz trip to India the night before the race, but interestingly he said working in Decan plateau gave him an altitude training effect (seriously?). Additionally, it seems neat to go to the race with one's family, run looking at babies/kids. That's going to be another motivation I haven't known so far.
After the race we ate Katsu-don(a rice bowl with pork cutlet). This day was also the before my birthday. By eating that, I accomplished my annual habit that on that day I eat fried veggies/meats called "Agemono" in Japanese, which has synonym that stands for "upward". I eat "Agemono" so that all of my own fiscal year ends up with upward curve.
Most of photos are taken by his wife.

PS-1. This article is the English translation of my
Japanese diaryPS-2. The friend suggested me to join Honolulu marathon on December this year. According only to our school's academic calendar, it's possible unlike past years the date of finals and run day were the same days...
