R.I.P. Nujabes
Accidentaly I found nujabes, Japanese independent hiphop trackmaker, passed away last month, by reading Japanese lyricist and one of his best partners Shing02 mourns on his web site.
Though I'm no longer interested (at least temporarily) in music, both in listening and playing, his music definitely gave delightful colors to my 20's when I was still seeking after the future regardless of music or whatever. I remember the sound of a song "Luv sic pt.2" sung by Shing02 wrapped me and I couldn't fall sleep when I had to for the next day's job. I was also glad to have found here in Dallas, Texas that his music is widely heard even in this southwest part of U.S., since sisters of my girlfriend who grew up here, are listening to the music of nujabes (without knowing who made them though...).
Sadly we can't expect his yet another "hydeout" productions anymore, but I'm glad his music gave me lots of memories and I'm still with his music. Rest in peace.
