How to edit attributes in ER diagram on Microsoft Visio
When I was using MS Visio 2007, I didn't know how to edit the attributes once I added them. Therefore I had to create a new entity from scratch every time I wanted to edit them.
Now I found how to do it in MS Visio 2010. I can't be sure if version 2007 also had this feature since I've upgraded the software.
1. Right click on the entity you want to edit the attributes of.
2. "Group" -> Open Entity ## (NOTE: replace '##' with arbitrary numbers the system shows)
3. System shows magnified view of the element. Edit as you wish
4. When finished editing, click the icon "Switch windows" on the very right-bottom, choose the file you were opening
