When visiting store, make sure to check the original web site in addition to Google Maps
Here's what I experienced when I tried to reach a store (Noka Chocolate Boutique in Dallas).
(Chronological)
1. Physically no store (or even building) at the address Google Maps showed both on PC and cell phone, phone number included was navigated to telephone company's automatic voice message.
2. Even in the other place G-Mpaps showed (Northpark shopping mall) the store was gone as well (eventually we found there was a store on 3rd floor in Neiman Marcus that sold only 2 boxes of Noka).
3. Today I checked again Google Maps, and then wow! The place I was able to see on it yesterday is gone today! Did they updated the data between this period?
I found on the original web site of the business that there's no retail store at the address (the Northpark one still remains though).
Lesson learned: Make sure to check the original web site of the venue in addition to Google Maps.
