Eclipse lisp plugins touch and go

As a heavy Emacs user and AI-re-learner, it would have been so natural to dwell on a good old basis of AI programming - Lisp - even at this age and era.
Only problem so far after playing with it on commandline (I'm using clisp due to the class instructor's preference) is running after writing code takes short 2 steps; write a code on emacs, read from clisp's commandline without filename prediction feature. So it'd be nicer if I can use Eclipse or any IDE where write-run integration is already there.
I tried following 2 plugins available on Eclipse, only to find neither of them is satisfying.
  • Dandelion - Looks successfully installed but no "run the code with clisp" is found.
  • Cusp - error "cusp was unable to connect to your lisp instance" occurs and again "run the code with clisp" is never available
